The family behind Vivid

Built by an SA family who's been in the apothecary since 1996.

Vivid is the modern face of a family-owned health business that started in 1996 in a small Gauteng home, when a parent searched the country for help for a sick child and couldn't find a single store that explained what was in the bottle. So the family opened their own. Today there are three Onelife Health stores in Gauteng and Vivid — the family's own line, made the way they wished other brands made theirs.

We don't put a single founder face on Vivid because it wasn't a single person — it's a family standard, kept anonymous on purpose.

What we believe

  1. Labels should tell the truth. The exact milligrams of every active. No proprietary blends. No "complex" hiding 5mg of something where you needed 500mg.
  2. Plants first. When a botanical does the job, the botanical does the job. We only reach for a synthetic active when the evidence demands it.
  3. Paper on request. Quality documentation for our products is available on request from our manufacturer — ask us and we'll arrange it.
