What it does
An essential amino acid your body can't make — and the classic one for cold-sore-prone people, because lysine competes with arginine, the amino acid the virus needs to replicate. Also a collagen-formation cofactor for skin and tissue repair.
How to use it
1 capsule daily for maintenance; 2–3 daily at the first tingle of an outbreak. Take away from arginine-rich foods (nuts, chocolate) for best effect.
